Double-Layer Magnetic Stirring Device
(An aid to temperature-controlled oil-bath heating)
Oil baths commonly heat experimental media during magnetic stirring. Silicone oil is placed in a large vessel, with a smaller sample vessel immersed in it. A magnetic stirrer mixes the sample while heating the oil, which transfers heat to the sample. In this arrangement the oil itself is not stirred. Its poor flow makes temperature control difficult, preventing precise sample temperature control.
Our dual-level magnetic stirring device stirs both the silicone oil and the sample, enabling precise temperature control.
The device is particularly suitable for our MYP98-1 magnetic stirrer and also fits the MYP11-2 and various other models. Orders are welcome.
